Yokoteyama Shibutoge Ski Resort Lift
Shiga Kogen is located in the center of Joshinetsu National Park and is recognized as a UNESCO Eco-Park, which aims to harmonize the conservation and sustainable use of ecosystems. Yokoteyama Shibutoge Ski Resort is the highest ski resort in Japan with a permanent lift system, at 2307 meters above sea level, and offers the longest ski season in Japan. A wide variety of courses await you.

The "Full Sky View Terrace" at the top of Mt! Yokote is one of the "100 Sunset Spots in Shinshu" and offers breathtaking views of the Shinshu sky and mountains, from the Sea of Japan to the Northern Alps, the Yatsugatake Mountains, Mount Fuji, and Mount Naeba. If you are lucky, you may even see a magnificent sea of clouds!
Clampett Cafe
At the "Clampett Cafe" attached to the Full Sky View Terrace at the top of Mt. Yokote, you can enjoy "Clampett" bread, which originated in England. Why not visit during a break from skiing?

Overwhelming scale! Snow Monster

Snow Monster
Located at a height of 2307 meters, Shiga Kogen offers magnificent tree ice formations in winter. Trees covered with ice are very powerful! These ice trees are called "snow monsters" and are one of the highlights of the area.
Snow Monster Tour (evening - night)
Roughly from January to February, the "Snow Monster Tour" by snowmobile will be in operation this season. Even if you are not a skier or snowboarder, you can enjoy Shiga Kogen to the fullest. It is a rare opportunity to ride on a snowmobile and enjoy the spectacular view as well as the precious experience.
