Blue sky and autumn leaves reflected on the lake surface

About 300 maple trees are planted in Kenrokuen, and the entire garden is colored in autumn. The contrast between the autumn leaves and the blue sky reflected on the surface of Kasumigaike Pond is a must-see! In autumn and winter in Hokuriku, there are many cloudy days, but the view on a clear autumn day is exceptional!

The best time to view the autumn leaves at Kenrokuen Garden is usually from early to late November.
At the same time, "Yukizuri", a winter tradition, begins in early November every year. It may be said that this is the best season to visit Kenrokuen, as you can enjoy both the snowdrops and the autumn leaves at the same time!
