Last year's "Autumn Colors Lift
At Lake Tazawa Ski Resort in Senboku City, Akita Prefecture, the "Autumn Foliage Lift," which was very popular last year, will be in operation on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays only from October 7 (Sat.) to allow visitors to view the autumn leaves on the slopes and around Lake Tazawa!
Trees at the top of the slopes and at the 8th station of Komagatake are gradually changing color, and are expected to be at their best by mid-month. Visitors will be able to walk back down the slopes without taking the lifts.
Event Schedule
During this period, various other events are also planned. Kaoru Nieda will serve as an instructor for mountain biking lessons, giving instruction on how to ride and attending to the course. Advance reservations are required, with a maximum of five people.
