Located at the end of the free passageway of Hitachi Station, Seabirds Cafe is brightly lit with sunlight streaming in through its full-length glass walls. The ocean stretches out as you look around, giving it a sense of openness. The concept is "a restaurant where you can dine in an extraordinary space, like a resort. The food menu is extensive, with pancakes and taco rice available for lunch, and pasta and curry for dinner, as well as more relaxed fare with drinks and snacks. It is also available for banquets and wedding receptions. Facing the direction of the rising sun, Seaver's Cafe opens at 7:00 a.m., so you can enjoy morning activities while watching the sunrise and the sea.

Introducing our recommended menu

Ibaraki's new specialty "Ibaraki Gapao

Ibaraki Gapao" is a Thai dish that uses local ingredients and is an adaptation of the Thai national dish, gapao. Ibaraki Prefecture has the highest percentage of Thai residents in Japan, and this dish was created as a collaboration between Ibaraki and Thailand. An increasing number of restaurants in the prefecture are offering Ibaraki Gapao. It is made with Ibaraki ingredients such as lotus root, of which Ibaraki is the top producer, and rice grown in the prefecture.

At Seaver's Cafe, you can enjoy Ibaraki Gapao made with lotus root, Koshihikari rice, and green peppers produced in Ibaraki Prefecture.

KAMINE ZOO Original Pancake" with the image of a panda

The "KAMINE ZOO Original Pancake" is a pancake with the image of the Hitachi City Kamine Zoo.
The silhouette is based on the image of a panda, as the Hitachi City Kamine Zoo is currently engaged in various activities to attract pandas to the zoo! The pancake is topped with vanilla ice cream, not-too-sweet whipped cream, and mango.

Planet Ocean" in space colors

The "Planet Ocean" drink is inspired by the Hitachi Civic Center, where you can enjoy planetarium showings at the Celestial Theater, as well as nighttime views and stargazing from the rooftop.
The drink is beautifully layered, with handmade honey lemon syrup, red berries, and purple herbal tea butterfly peas from the bottom. In keeping with the space theme, the kiwi sorbet is the earth, the blue whip is the sky, and the rum and pineapple are the planets and stars.
