Ibaraki no Warabimochi" (Ibaraki's straw rice cake wrapped with Ibaraki ingredients)

Ibaraki Warabimochi" was developed last year. Three kinds of bean paste made from chestnuts, sweet potatoes, and pumpkins produced in Ibaraki Prefecture are wrapped in a soft and pliable warabimochi. The chestnut red bean paste is made with Shibuhi (astringent skin) stew from Odaki Shoten, which specializes in chestnuts in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture, which is famous throughout Japan for its production, sweet potato red bean paste is made with cut butter, and pumpkin red bean paste is made with chopped pumpkin seeds. The ingredients are combined to enhance the flavor of each. You can also enjoy the different colors and textures of each of the three autumn flavors.

Seasonal Dorayaki! Imo Dorayaki" in autumn

The filling of the dorayaki changes according to the season. In autumn, the "Imo Dorayaki" is made with sweet potato bean paste using "Beni Azuma" sweet potatoes grown in Ibaraki Prefecture! Fresh eggs and milk are used, and the soft baked crust is filled with sweet sweet potato bean paste.

You can enjoy a variety of dorayaki each season, such as cherry blossoms in spring, fresh dorayaki with cream and red bean paste, apple, and Ogura butter.

There are three other types of dorayaki!

Marusan Rohpo's "Manmaru no Dorayaki" or "Doramaru" for short. The Doramaru, sold year-round, comes in two varieties: Ogura and Chestnut. Using fresh milk and eggs and flavored with honey, each dorayaki is baked one by one to create a fluffy crust. The Ogura dorayaki is filled with red bean paste made from Hokkaido azuki beans, which are hand-kneaded by artisans. The chestnuts are a large piece of sweetened chestnuts, a luxurious treat.

We also recommend the "Original Kabocha Butter Dorayaki," a rare combination of white bean paste and pumpkin. The original dorayaki is a collaboration of kabocha and butter, using kabocha-an, a mixture of white bean paste and kabocha! *Close during the summer season.
