Morino Garden is a farmer's cafe run by Marusei Orchard in Fukushima City. The reasonably priced parfaits that generously use fresh fruit harvested from the orchard are so popular that Fukushima citizens line up to get in...! When we ask locals for a recommendation, "Morino Garden" is the one they come up with. The popularity of the parfait has even been introduced on a TV program! Marusei Orchard, where you can enjoy seasonal fruit picking

At Marusei Orchard, seasonal fruit picking is popular! You can pick cherries, peaches, grapes, pears, and apples. Depending on the season, you can pick cherries such as Beni Sayaka, Sato Nishiki, and Beni Shuho; peaches such as Hakuho, Akatsuki, and Kogane Peach; pears such as Kosui, Toyosui, and 20th Century; and apples such as Benidama, Ohrin, and Fuji. Depending on the time of year, two or more varieties may be harvested at the same time, so you can compare the different varieties.

In addition to fruit picking, there is a direct sales shop where you can buy seasonal fruits, juices, compotes, etc. It is also close to Iizaka Onsen, so we recommend taking a dip in the hot spring after tasting the fruits.

Farmer's Cafe "Morino Garden" in the orchard

The "Forest Garden" allows visitors to fully enjoy fruits grown at Marusei Orchard. Visitors can enjoy fruit parfaits while relaxing on the terrace overlooking the lush natural surroundings of the garden. The restaurant is very popular among the locals, and on holidays and during the season, customers line up even before the restaurant opens, and sometimes there is a 2-3 hour wait time...! There is a reception form, so don't forget to write your name on it.

Since it is directly operated by an orchard, you can enjoy parfaits made with fresh fruits at reasonable prices. The varieties change depending on the time of year you visit, as they use seasonal fruits. Here are some of our extravagant parfaits that are only available for a limited time!

Cherry parfait (from mid-June)

Lots of cherries on top of ice cream and whipped cream. The cherries are shiny and bright red like jewels. Please be careful not to drop the plentiful cherries.

From mid-July: Peach parfait

A whole, perfectly ripe peach is lavishly topped. The collaboration of sweet and juicy peaches and ice cream is superb! It is perfect for summer. The ice cream is also luxurious with peaches. Some varieties of peaches do not soften easily, so if you like soft peaches, it is recommended to inquire about the variety in advance! In addition to the parfait, there is also a peach smoothie, which consists of about 2 peaches in a smoothie.

Late August -] Golden Peach Parfait

This parfait is made with whole golden peaches. Compared to white peaches, golden peaches have a slightly firmer texture and a rich sweetness.

Early September -] Pear parfait

This parfait makes full use of sweet and fresh pears. Since there is a whole pear on top, it is recommended to use a toothpick to avoid dropping the pear.

This parfait uses seasonal varieties such as grapes and muscats. Lots of large grapes that are as sweet as the whipped cream and ice cream are used.

The "Marusei Special Parfait" has so much fruit on it that it overflows the bowl. It is filled with apples, grapes, pears, peaches, and more. This parfait is filled with the flavors of autumn. Repeat visitors to the Forest Garden are said to feel the arrival of autumn with this parfait....
