Adatara-yama Ropeway

In Fukushima Prefecture, rich in nature, there are many places to enjoy autumn foliage, and this article introduces the autumn foliage of Adatara-yama!
Mt. Adatara is known as one of Fukushima Prefecture's most famous autumn foliage viewing spots. It is the main peak of the Adatara mountain range, which stretches 9 km from north to south, and is located at an elevation of 1,700 m above sea level. Adatara-san Okudake-no-yu (hot spring)

One-day hot spring located at an elevation of approximately 950 meters

The view of the mountains from the open-air bath is spectacular!

Adatara ropeway stop, the Adatara-san Okudake no Yu (Mt. Adatara) is said to have an acidic spring with a pH of 2.5, which is rare in Japan and effective in beautifying the skin. The open-air bath has no enclosure, so there is a very open feeling, and you can feel the autumn leaves that beautifully tint the mountain range with your whole body.

②Dake churros and "A" churros

Dake," symbolizing the Dake Onsen hot springs located at the foot of Mt. Access to Adatara Kogen Resort

If you use the Shinkansen bullet train, transfer to the JR Tohoku Main Line at Koriyama or Fukushima Station, get off at Nihonmatsu Station, and then take a cab for about 30 minutes or a local bus (weekdays) for about 45 minutes. If coming by car, it is about 20 minutes from the Nihonmatsu Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway.
