A carpet of flowers spreading all over the area! Cosmos Festival 2023" will be held!

Showa Kinen Park (Tachikawa City and Akishima City) will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Thursday, October 26 this year. The "Cosmos Festival 2023" will be held from September 16 (Sat.) to October 22 (Sun.) to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the opening of the park! A "Railway Photo Spot" using railway-related materials will make its debut. The photo spot will feature actual railroad tracks and level crossings (alarms), a specially created station name sign for the imaginary "National Showa Memorial Park Station," and a park train with an original headmark that will be operated on a train-type bus that circles the park. ●Cosmos flowers "Lemon Bright".

Lemon Bright, native to Mexico, is a wildly beautiful variety that grows robustly during the typhoon-prone fall season. The "Hill of Flowers," where you can see lemon bright flowers spreading all around, is a flower garden that takes advantage of the slope. If you take photos looking up from below, the refreshing blue autumn sky will enhance the lemon bright flowers even more.

Autumn bouquet garden

South Flower Field / Approx. 150,000 plants, 22 varieties / Best from late September to late October
The "Autumn Bouquet Garden" features 22 varieties of autumn flowers and plants! Visitors can see several varieties of cosmos and a variety of fall flowers and grasses in different colors. No matter where you cut off the flowers, you can take a bouquet-like photo in this flower garden.

Cosmos "Sensation

Field East Flower Garden / Approx. 200,000 plants / Best viewed from early October to late October
The cosmos is a representative of the gorgeous and elegant cosmos. Large pink flowers bloom.

Shabondama Event

Many soap bubbles float in the autumn flower garden. This fantastic scene is limited to 30 minutes each time. Don't miss your shutter chance!

Autumn Photo Spot

The popular "Nanairo Bench" will make a comeback, and the "Sora-iro Staircase" that crosses the sky will make its first appearance! Other photogenic spots such as the "pink door" and "white swing" will also appear.
