Owara Kaze no Bon Festival is held in Yatsuo Town, Toyama City from September 1 to 3 every year and is the representative festival of Toyama Prefecture. Thousands of paper lanterns are lit along the streets of the hillside town, and dancers sing and dance gracefully to the sounds of shamisen and kokyu (Japanese violin) music.

Enjoy a luxurious Owara viewing before the main festival
Although the eve of the festival has been canceled for the 2023 Owara Kaze no Bon Festival, "Owara Stage 2023 Summer" will be held as a pre-event at the Ecchu Yatsuo Kanko Kaikan. All 11 branches of the preservation society and Yatsuo High School's local performing arts club will perform in two parts on each day, in the order of their respective schedules.
