Owara Kaze no Bon Festival: An extravaganza before the main festival!

Owara Kaze no Bon Festival is held in Yatsuo Town, Toyama City from September 1 to 3 every year and is the representative festival of Toyama Prefecture.
Thousands of paper lanterns are lit along the streets of the hillside town, and dancers sing and dance gracefully to the sounds of shamisen and kokyu (Japanese violin) music.

Enjoy a luxurious Owara viewing before the main festival

Although the eve of the festival has been canceled for the 2023 Owara Kaze no Bon Festival, "Owara Stage 2023 Summer" will be held as a pre-event at the Ecchu Yatsuo Kanko Kaikan. All 11 branches of the preservation society and Yatsuo High School's local performing arts club will perform in two parts on each day, in the order of their respective schedules.

We will also introduce a special program that offers an even more luxurious experience! A special plan combining the "Owara Stage 2023 Summer" and Ozashiki Owara (dinner included) is now on sale at "visit Toyama Prefecture". The "Ozashiki Owara" is a luxury Owara viewing experience in the "special Ozashiki" at the Kitayoshi Ryokan, where reservations are not taken until several years in advance during the main festival period. Continue enjoying the night streets of Yatsuo just before the Owara Kaze no Bon Festival. You may encounter the practice scene of each town.

Located in Kagamicho, which is well known for the Otaya staircase, this ryokan has a long-established history as one of the few government-approved ryotei restaurants in the city.
