Asakusa Yokomachi holds festivals both on weekdays and holidays! You can enjoy festivals from all over Japan such as Yosakoi, Awaodori, and Bon Odori. In addition, Golden Samba performances are held every Friday in Asakusa Yokomachi in connection with the Asakusa Samba Carnival, a major summer event in Asakusa. The lively samba dancers' performance and live samba music called batucada are the main attractions of the festival!
