The unique name of the store is also intriguing, isn't it? As the name "Private Coffee Elementary School" suggests, there are two teachers, one in charge of pastries and the other in charge of bread, and special pastries and bread are displayed in a glass case in the store only on the days when each teacher is in charge of a particular item. We would like to introduce you to the charm of the private coffee elementary school, where you can enjoy different kinds of coffee and different contents on different days.
Private Coffee Elementary School" located in the back alley of Kinshicho
Private Coffee Elementary School had relocated and opened from Daikanyama to Kinshicho, and this July marks exactly one year since its opening. The owner, who was a teacher in Tokyo, first worked at an elementary school here in Sumida-ku when he was a teacher, so the relocation was to an area that holds a special place in his heart.

Coffee with our specialties

Sandwiches and pound cakes in the glass case

Regular menu "Sandwich with homemade ham
The size of the bread was just enough to fit in one hand and I thought it might not be enough for lunch, but I was very satisfied with just one piece as I am a small eater because it was full of filling.

Sweets homeroom and bread homeroom
Sweets homeroom: LUNA BON BON DAY (last Friday of each month)
Bread homeroom: MIHO PAN DAY (second or first Thursday of each month)
Please check Private Coffee Elementary School's Instagram for dates and menu details. In the past, we have competed with other bakers and pastry chefs and have seasonal menus. You can enjoy new menu items no matter how many times you go.
Depending on the time of day, some menus may be sold out, so it is a good idea to get there early!
Collaboration with exhibiting artists and open staff meeting!
In addition, the store holds regular meetings where all the staff (store staff), including the owner, the pastry staff, and the bread staff, gather to learn about food. They believe that it would be a waste to keep this knowledge closed, so they have recently created an opportunity to invite a sommelier once every two months to learn about food pairing while enjoying pastries and wine or bread and wine.

Open on Mondays as a coffee stand!
The cafe is open from Tuesday to Sunday.
Coffee, bread and sweets as teaching materials for a "little rich" time!
