Of course, we are particular about our rice as well. We use a unique blend of Kumano rice from Wakayama, Nanatsuboshi rice from Hokkaido, and Tsuyahime rice from Yamagata, which is cooked in a hagama (kettle) for a delicious taste. This blend of rice is sold as "Tarafuku" rice for souvenirs at the shopping corner on the first floor, so you can enjoy it at home.

In addition to the offerings, "Ume to Hoshi"'s specialty "Floating Eggs (Fluffy Eggs)" comes with set meals. The original product, "YOSHINANI," is a proudly made dish based on an Edo period menu, seasoned with a base of senri-shu (seasoning) created by adding kombu, dried bonito flakes, and dried plums to sake and slowly simmering it down. Its thick texture is like scrambled eggs, but this dish is unique to "Ume to Hoshi" with a touch of Japanese spirit.
