◎Naruko hot spring resort with a history of over 1,000 years as a hot spring resort
In 1897, during the reign of the 11th Man'emon, the hotel was remodeled into a modern building and began operating as a large-scale lodging facility, In 1921, the village of Naruko, then known as "Onsen-mura," was split off to form "Naruko-machi," and Manbei became the first mayor of the town.

We provide a relaxing space that warms your heart with a heat exchange heating system that utilizes colorful, natural hot spring steam. The steam is placed in a tank, cooled to 80 degrees Celsius by outside air, and led to the bathtub. The final temperature of the hot water is around 42 degrees Celsius and is controlled 24 hours a day by five hot water keepers.

Hot spring water changes slightly with rain, snow, and wind while it is exposed to the open air. The color appears to change depending on its condition, which is evidence that the hot spring is a natural product. The "Basho no Yu" (right) in the morning is a bright blue color, while the "Koya Maki Oke Open-air Bath" (left) is a beautiful jade green color, and so on, depending on the time of day.
