There is a Kutani-yaki vending machine with a great impact in appearance in front of a general store "Hyakubanya" located about a 2-minute walk from the bus stop "Hashibacho" at the entrance of Higashi Chaya-gai. Its name is "Kutani Yaki Gatchan.
Gatchan" is a combination of the sound of the product falling and "Get Chance".
At this vending machine, visitors can purchase Kutani Yaki products that are full of individuality of each artist and brewer until the third one. The varieties range from cute accessories to lucky ornaments. Prices range from 1,000 yen to 2,000 yen. One of the charms of Kutaniyaki is the originality of its craftsmen and artists, so it is wonderful to be able to purchase individually handmade pieces at a reasonable price!
