OTABA, a cafe where you can enjoy handmade sweets along the Asano River, Kanazawa

The Asano River flows slowly on the east side of Kanazawa Castle in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. We would like to introduce you to a café located along such an elegant riverside, called "Kobashi Cafe OTABA".
As the name suggests, it is located by a small bridge and has a relaxing and open atmosphere inside. I ordered a basque cheesecake and an iced latte. The restaurant boasts handmade sweets, and the gentle sweetness was delicious. The menu changes daily, and there were many other kinds of muffins available that day.

It is about a 6-minute walk along the river to "Chayamachi Chayamachi." Take-out is also available, and drinks and soft-serve ice cream can be purchased. It is a perfect place to stop by and take a break during a stroll in Kanazawa♪ It is also nice to enjoy the pleasant breeze from the river! Next to the store, there is a large parking lot shared with an affiliated store.
At lunch time, you can order the daily lunch plate and other vegetable-rich plates. Since the long-established udon and soba restaurant Otafuku is affiliated with the restaurant, I am also interested in the udon pasta lunch. Next time, I will try to go there for lunch!
