How about a "Japanese healing moment" at the gateway to the sky?

Saryo Itoen offers various styles of traditional Japanese "tea culture. Saryo Itoen offers a variety of drinks, sweet treats, and light meals using carefully selected matcha green tea and other teas handled by the specialty store. This time, we pick up the shaved ice, a very popular item every year!
A space to enjoy tea

This authentic shaved ice is made with Awa Wasanbon, a traditional Japanese ingredient!

The brightly colored matcha honey is very appetizing.

What do you recommend for this year's shaved ice menu?

Every year, the shaved ice menu is offered only during the summer season, and this year they are using Awa Wasanbon from Tokushima for the matcha honey. This year, they are using Awa Wasanbon from Tokushima for the matcha honey. The shaved ice is topped with matcha mitsu, which is made by blending Awa Wasanbon and matcha in the store. There are three types to choose from: matcha strawberry with condensed milk, matcha kintoki with condensed milk, and kinako condensed milk.
According to the store staff, they also recommend the green tea "Horebore" offered at the store to accompany the shaved ice.

You can enjoy matcha until the very end!

This time, I had the "Matcha Strawberry - with condensed milk", which is particularly recommended among the three types introduced above. It is more voluminous than I expected! A large bowl of fluffy shaved ice is generously served, and beautiful dark green matcha honey is lavishly poured over it. It is served with strawberry sauce with strawberry pulp and a cute white rice ball to give it a variety of textures. The inside of the cake is covered with a generous amount of matcha honey, so you can taste the matcha until the very last bite.

Saryo Itoen is located on the 4th floor of Haneda Airport Terminal 3!

Under the Nodate Umbrella

The area is open to everyone, so it is a popular place to stop by before you pick up or before you leave for your trip, or even after you arrive.

The tables on the side are open space that anyone can feel free to use. Enjoy a "Japanese healing moment" on chairs covered with a red nodate-gasa (umbrella) and scarlet carpet.
You can also purchase a drink at Saryo Itoen! Or take a break with your own beverage! Enjoy your own time.
