Do you know about "Biei Curry Udon" which was born in 2005 in Biei-cho, where Hokkaido's hilly landscape and rich agricultural products are very attractive? This is an original menu using local ingredients from Biei, a town known for its wheat and vegetables, and is made at the "Biei Curry Udon Restaurant" located right behind JR Biei Station. Biei Curry Udon to enjoy the taste of the ingredients

Biei Curry Udon" made with Biei wheat "Koumugi", Japanese pork glutinous pig meat and vegetables is available in dipping noodle style, baked noodle style, winter-only dipping noodle style, etc. "Cold Curry Udon" available only in summer at Restaurant & Cafe KOERU with a view of the station is also available. The photo shows "Tsukemen Style" Curry Udon. Udon noodles, curry, and ingredients are served separately, and the warm curry roux is well mixed with the firm udon noodles. The toppings of vegetables and pork, as well as the set salad, are all from Biei. After the spicy curry, the slightly sweet and robust tasting "Biei milk" went well with it. Biei Curry Udon" is currently available from the first to the third series, and there are some common ingredients and rules.

(1) The official name is "Biei Curry Udon.

(2) Udon noodles made from "Koumugi" flour produced in Biei must be used.

(3) Udon noodles, curry roux, and ingredients are served separately in a "dipping noodle" style.

(4) Ingredients include Biei pork shabu-shabu meat and seasonal vegetables from Biei. However, when vegetables cannot be harvested, vegetables from other regions may be used.


*The first "Biei Curry Udon" Tsukemen type has a rule that "Biei milk" is served with it.
