The popular local patisserie "Vervennes" has been in operation for 20 years in the castle town of Hirosaki City. In addition to the oven-baked apple pie introduced here, they also sell a variety of other sweets such as decorated cakes, baked doughnuts, and other lovely-looking baked goods. The store boasts brightly colored sweets made with an abundance of seasonal fruits.
