This time, we ordered it with Gohei-mochi, a local delicacy, at "Ippukudokoro Akebonoya," a directly operated store of "Maruden Ikedaya. Mitarashi dumplings in Takayama are not covered with sweet sauce, but are baked savory with a non-sweet soy sauce sauce sauce on the surface. I ordered them without knowing it, so I was surprised when they came out! The slightly charred soy sauce aroma is delicious! The store also sold sweets and other items that would make great souvenirs, and we were able to sit on chairs and eat them at our leisure. Walking along the streets, I saw dumpling shops here and there. All the stores sell dumplings for about 100 yen each and you can see them baking on the spot, so you will want to stop by.
