Sanriku Fireworks Festival" brings energy and smiles from Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture.

The "Sanriku Fireworks Competition" started in 2020 to bring energy and smiles from Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture, which was hit by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and to enliven the Sanriku region. This year, a total of about 15,000 fireworks were shot off, including a "shakudama" (a large ball with a blooming diameter of 330 meters).

I was very impressed by the powerful fireworks that were set off from start to finish in time with the music! Beautiful! and "Beautiful! In addition, messages from the winners of the lottery were read out, and the fireworks were shot off along with the messages.

Fireworks are shot off generously in time with music, and the colors change like illuminations, so you can't take your eyes off the fireworks. You can enjoy fireworks with a new sense of entertainment!
The finale fireworks by Marugo, Inc., a fireworks company that has won numerous awards, including the Prime Minister's Award for the 2022 Omagari Fireworks Competition, was truly a sight to behold! I hope everyone will come to see it!
On the day after the fireworks display, volunteers are also needed to help clean up the scattered pieces of fireworks, which are called "shards of dreams. The collected pieces of fireworks can be taken home if they are safe! It will be a great souvenir.
