Daisen City in Akita Prefecture is famous for the Omagari Fireworks! Omagari-no-Hanabi" is held at the Omagari Fireworks Park on the banks of the Omokawa River and is known as one of the "Three Greatest Fireworks Festivals in Japan. At the Hanabi Creative Workshop, you can make your own original fireworks by combining various colors of gunpowder. Using a model of a firework ball, even children can operate it easily! After you have made your original fireworks, you can launch them on the screen!

Hanabi Theater

The "Hanabi Theater" is a 4-sided multi-screen theater that displays images of fireworks on the front, left, right, and top screens. 4 screens display fireworks, so you can enjoy powerful images as if you are surrounded by fireworks. You can also see a video that focuses on the craftsmanship and attention to detail of the pyrotechnicians who make the fireworks, which is a fascinating experience for visitors.

Omagari Fireworks" replica by Seiji Fujishiro

A replica of the "Omagari Fireworks" created by Seiji Fujishiro, a famous Japanese shadowgraph artist, is on display. The original "Omagari no Hanabi" can be seen at the Seiji Fujishiro Museum of Art in Nasu, Tochigi Prefecture.
