Gero Gero Butter Stand sells butter sandwiches made with locally produced Gero milk. Gero milk cream is a rare product that is rarely sold in the market due to the small amount produced. Let's place your order right away!
There are a total of five types of butter sandwiches! In addition to the standard raisin, the lineup includes pistachio cheese, caramel nut, berry berry, and black sesame kinako. All butter sandwiches are priced at 390 yen (tax included)! This time I ordered the Kurogoma Kinako (black sesame kinako)!

In addition to butter sandwiches, the shop also sells grilled rice balls and drinks made with plenty of homemade gerogero butter.

You can have them freshly made on the spot!

As time goes by, the butter cream melts into the cookie, making it moist, which is a characteristic of butter sandwiches, but freshly made butter sandwiches have crispy cookies! This store also sells butter sandwiches packaged as souvenirs, so you can enjoy both the crunchy texture when you are there and the moistness of the souvenir butter sandwiches after your trip.

The restaurant's eating and drinking area is a great place to take pictures!

There is also an eating and drinking area in the back of the store where you can sit down. In addition to the usual benches, there are chairs shaped like stacked blocks, and you can take pictures in front of the logo.

A store with a footbath, typical of Gero Onsen (Gero Hot Springs)

Even though it is a sweets store, the footbaths in the storefront are typical of Gero Onsen. At the footbath at Gerogero Butter Stand, visitors can enjoy hot water with buttermilk bath salts that have moisturizing properties. This bathing agent is also available for sale, so if you like it after soaking in it, please take it home as a souvenir... ♪
