The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama is a new view spot accessible by the state-of-the-art gondola "Sunrise Express"!
The terrace is one of the largest in the area (232㎡ in floor space), and offers a view of the peaceful countryside, Makiki-yama, one of the top 100 mountains in Japan, and the three Echigo mountains (Hakkaisan, Echigo-Komagatake, and Nakanodake).

Here is a recommended way to spend your time!
First, let's go to the resort center.
The first place you will head for is the resort center!
Let's go to the reception desk!
Inside the building, there is an information desk and a lounge, where the staff will help you have a pleasant day.
There is also a store with outdoor goods, so if you forget your hat, sunscreen, etc., you don't have to worry...
After that, you will board the state-of-the-art gondola "Sunrise Express" for a 7-minute ride to the top of the mountain.
Enjoy the spectacular aerial view from the comfortable and all-glass cabin while heading for the observation terrace!
Observation Terrace ~ Terrace Cafe
The view is picturesque no matter where you cut it off!
We recommend relaxing on the sofa on the observation terrace and taking pictures at the photo spots.
If you get hungry, head to the Terrace Cafe!
You can enjoy local gourmet food using ingredients unique to Niigata that can only be found here.
You can enjoy your meal not only inside the restaurant with a great view, but also in your favorite outdoor area for take-out!
Relax and unwind in the popular dome tents!
Tables and outdoor chairs are laid out inside the transparent Kamakura-style tent.
You can relax in a private space with your family and friends while feeling the great outdoors close by.
Air-conditioning, heating, and Wi-Fi are provided, and you can spend a comfortable time while relaxing on the sofa.

Spectacular view! Field Lounge area!
From the "Field Lounge," located just at the edge of the slope, you can enjoy the magnificent nature more closely from a different perspective than the observation terrace!
The "Field Lounge" is an encampment where you can enjoy the view more dynamically with its rows of distinctive teepee tents.
Please take your time to enjoy nature while eating take-out from the Field Lounge.
The "Logo Park" with the Ishiuchimaruyama logo monument is a popular photo spot from which you can enjoy the view of Mt!

About 10 minutes by cab from JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station
During Golden Week, a free shuttle bus will run from "Yuzawa Kogen Panorama Park" in Echigo Yuzawa Onsen Town to "The Veranda Ishiuchi Maruyama".
