Naruko Kanko Hotel: Recommended hotels in Naruko Onsen

Exterior view
Naruko Kanko Hotel is a hot spring hotel conveniently located about a 3-minute walk from Naruko Onsen Station. The hotel is equipped with an indoor bath, an open-air bath, and three private baths, and it is also possible to use the hot spring on a day trip.
From the moment you step into the hotel, you can smell the sulfur of the hot spring's ingredients, giving you the impression that you are in a hot spring resort. Naruko Onsen has a 400-year history as a hot spring for beautiful skin, and its hot spring water feels like silk on the skin, making you want to bathe in it again and again!

Renovated rooms

This time we stayed at the newly renovated "West Wing Premium Guest Room Komorebi". The room was a twin type room with two beds on tatami mats, and was friendly to the elderly and those with children.
Next to the large window, there is a space for relaxing like a sofa and writing on a chair, and there is also an independent washbasin and a shower booth.

Dinner prepared with local ingredients

Dinner (example)
With "Hakurakusei," a locally brewed sake
Dinner was a variety of dishes made with the best ingredients, with Sendai beef as the main dish.
The Sendai beef was an impressive combination of fine fat and soft texture.
Hitomebore," which was born in Miyagi Prefecture, is served with white rice to highlight its deliciousness. The pairing of the dish with "Hakurakusei," a local sake from Osaki City, Miyagi Prefecture, was excellent.

You can also use it for work vacation.

Coworking space
Conference room
There is also a workspace available for business use.
We recommend staying at a hot spring resort where you can work and relax at the same time, soaking in the hot spring and having a space where you can concentrate on your work!

I would like to visit Naruko Kanko Hotel for sightseeing! Naruko Dam

Naruko Dam

The Naruko Dam, the first arch dam in Japan built solely by Japanese, is recognized as a Civil Engineering Heritage Site.

Naruko Dam illuminated

During the GW period, a SUDARE (bamboo screen) release and Rainbow Light-up were held, and the event was so popular that it caused a huge traffic jam.

Although you need to be careful about access by car during the illumination period, this is a spot you should definitely visit when sightseeing in Naruko.
