Ebisu Island is an uninhabited island located at the tip of the Suzaki Peninsula, almost at the southern tip of the Izu Peninsula. It is easily visited by bridge, and since it is a small island, it is easy to circle around. The "Senjojiki" around the island is ideal for playing on the rocky shore!
The shallows, which were carved by waves, have risen over a long period of time and come to the surface of the sea, and are thus visible in layers like this. The hollows in Senjidashiki are actually the remains of quarries. The stone is called Izu-ishi, which comes from a stratum made of volcanic ash and pumice stone, and is often used in the city of Izu because of its excellent fire resistance. You can also feel the change in water level between low and high tide, and you will definitely be impressed by the greatness of nature! Why not take a trip for a little exploration?

Ideal for playing on the rocky shore! Look for crabs, crucian carp, and various other sea creatures.

Exploring the island is also fun! Let's touch the Izu stones!
