Spring Week Information

To coincide with this blooming period, "Springs Week," an event to experience spring more fully, will be held from March 25 (Sat.) to May 7 (Sun.), 2023.
During this period, there will be an "Aozora Ichiba" (open-air market) with booths mainly featuring restaurants in Kashiwa City, sales of original sweets "Kashiwa Strawberry Puffs," a "Spring Workshop Festival & Handmade Marche" where visitors can enjoy workshops and a handmade market, and an "Insect Exhibition" that is very popular among children.

Outline of the park

Akebonoyama Agricultural Park, with the catchphrase, "A flower village where you can play and learn, a physical farmer's park," has a processing training center, Akebono Beach Park (BBQ), a citizen's farm, and a "windmill," which is the symbol of Kashiwa City. In the flower garden, visitors can enjoy tulips, sunflowers, cosmos, and other flowers.

The adjacent Akebonoyama Park is famous for its cherry blossoms, a Japanese garden with a tea ceremony room "Kashiwa Sen-tei" and an aquatic botanical garden where Japanese honeysuckle blooms are in full bloom. Akebonoyama Agricultural Park and Akebonoyama Park together cover an area of approximately 23.6 hectares and offer a variety of spaces for enjoyment.

From the North Exit of Abiko Station, take the bus bound for "Akebonoyama Agricultural Park" and get off at the last stop. 1 minute walk from the bus stop, or take the bus bound for "Akebonoyama Park Entrance" and get off at the last stop. 7 minutes walk from the bus stop.
From the West Exit of Kashiwa Station, take the bus bound for Mitsui Danchi and get off at Tsuchiyatsu Iriguchi. 7 minutes on foot.
By car
