Makuhari-Toyosuna Station on the Keiyo Line opened on March 18, the first new station to open in 25 years in the area served by the JR East Chiba Branch since Higashi-Matsudo Station on the Musashino Line. To commemorate the opening, we have created new stamps for Kaihin-Makuhari Station, Kemigawahama Station, Inage-kaigan Station, and Makuhari-Toyosuna Station, and are now holding a stamp rally for the four stations. (The stamp rally will end when all stamps and prizes are gone. For details, please check at each Perrier station.) ) There will also be many other fun events, such as a special premium gift for customers who complete purchase requirements at Perrier stations along the Keiyo Line, an art exhibition by local students, and a station piano installation. Please come and visit us. For details of the events, please visit our website.

~What kind of station is Makuhari Toyosuna Station? ~Toyosuna station in Makuhari City

Makuhari-Toyosuna Station is a new station built almost halfway between Kaihin-Makuhari Station and Shin-Narashino Station on the Keiyo Line, with a bright and open station building that has a modern look with lots of wood used. The station is unusual in that the up platform is on an elevated platform on the second floor, while the down platform is on a different floor from the ground level, making the upper and lower lines on different levels. The white roof is a "membrane roof," a fabric-like membrane coated with glass fiber resin and attached to the framework, allowing sunlight to enter through the atrium and reducing lighting, making the structure environmentally friendly.

The wood used for the walls and benches was reused from the athletes' village of the Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics! Please come and see for yourself!
