Fuefuki-shi Momogenkyo Spring Festival [Misaka-cho] Peach blossoms around Hanajima-no-sato
Fuefuki-shi will hold the "Fuefuki-shi Momogenkyo Spring Festival" from March 26 (Sun) to April 9 (Sun), 2023.
Starting with skunk cabbages, which are the earliest to bloom in Japan, Fuefuki-shi will be in full bloom in spring, followed by cherry blossoms and then peach blossoms, which boast the largest peach garden in Japan. Fuefuki-shi is located in the east of the Kofu Basin in Yamanashi Prefecture, and the Fuefuki-gawa River, from which the city takes its name, flows through the center of the city. The fan-shaped area on the other side of the Fuefuki-gawa River is a peach-growing area that boasts the largest production of peaches in Japan, and is appropriately called "Momogenkyo.
