The name is a bit unusual, but it is actually derived from the melting point (the temperature at which the fat melts). Compared to the melting point of ordinary pork fat, which is around 38℃, the melting point of 32℃ to 34℃ is so low that it melts on human skin. Therefore, it melts smoothly on the tongue, and its deep, melting sweetness fills the mouth.
