Narita has many attractions! What are your thoughts on Narita tourism?
We interviewed a person from Takizawa Honten Co., Ltd. who has continued to operate in Narita for many years without losing to the virus.
Q. What kind of town is Narita? Please tell us what you think is attractive about Narita.
A. In elementary schools around here, there is a program called "Sando Activity," in which students speak English to foreigners walking along the Naritasan Omotesando Avenue as part of their classes. Compared to other areas, English and cross-cultural communication efforts are more active in this area, so I think it is a very interesting town where the entire community embraces global society from an early age, while at the same time coexisting with the traditional Japanese history of Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple and the Monzenmachi area. It is also a place where you can enjoy many things at once, as there are several international restaurants where people from the real world show off their skills and Narita's famous eel restaurants. It is also close to Narita International Airport, so I recommend it to those who come to Japan for a short time as a transit.
Q. Naritasan Omotesando has finally regained some of its former vigor.
A. I think drinking is "fun," so I think it is a great place to enjoy your favorite drink. I hope that people of all nationalities, ages, and genders will be able to choose their favorite drink and have a good time. We hope to resume tastings soon, which we have not been able to do due to the coronavirus...! We are thinking about it. We would also like to make use of Narita's unique character, as I mentioned earlier, and make some interesting efforts!
"Kuramoto Chokubaiten Chomeisen" hope that people will have a good time with sake regardless of nationality, age, gender and so on.
When you visit Narita for sightseeing, why don't you try Japanese sake at this shop?
