The best cherry blossom viewing spot in Nagano City!
<城山公園> is the most famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Nagano City, including the surrounding area, and is well known by the citizens of Nagano. In mid-April (*1), when the cherry blossoms are at their best, approximately 470 Someiyoshino cherry trees are in full bloom, and temporary teahouses called "Hanami Jaya" (*2) are set up to serve as banquet halls until night.
*1:The best time to view the flowers is a rough estimate for a typical year. Please confirm the blooming time and other details separately.
*2:Please check in advance when the Hanami teahouses will be open.
A stroll in combination with the surrounding area is recommended!
<城山公園> Nearby are the Nagano Prefectural Museum of Art and Zenkoji Temple, which cannot be missed as a sightseeing spot in Nagano. The approach to Zenkoji Temple is also dotted with oyaki and soba noodle restaurants and stylish cafes, so a stroll along the approach is recommended in combination with cherry blossom viewing at <城山公園>!
