10:10 Board the Sea Bus

Sea Bus is a marine bus that connects Yokohama Station East Exit, Minato Mirai, Red Brick Warehouse, and major sightseeing spots in Yokohama. This time, we will board from the East Exit of Yokohama Station!
You can enjoy a mini cruise while enjoying the scenery of Yokohama Port, just like in the maritime city of Yokohama.
Sea Bus "Seabus
There are two types of unreserved seating. The cabin section offers a view of Yokohama Port from the same vantage point as the water's surface. The large windows inside the ship make it comfortable!
On the rear deck, you can cruise while feeling the sea breeze. The windowed ceiling makes it safe even on rainy days, and on sunny days you can enjoy both the blue sky and the sea. Since there are no windows, we recommend taking commemorative photos with famous Yokohama landmarks such as Minato Mirai and the Red Brick Warehouse in the background.

Kaiun Daruma", a representative of good luck charms

One of the specialties of Kawasaki Daishi is the "Kaiun Daruma" (lucky charm), which is a representative of good luck charms. Daruma dolls are sold at many stores along Nakamise-dori. The red coloring and shape of the Daruma doll represent the fire that burns during the "Gomadaki Shugyo," a solemn esoteric Buddhist ritual of Kawasaki Daishi, and it is said that the Daruma doll is meant to bring good luck like the fire that rises to the top.

Among the many Daruma doll stores, Takahashi Taichi Shoten is the one we will introduce here. In addition to red, blue, and green Daruma dolls, they also sell cute "Oriental Zodiac Daruma" and "Amabie Daruma" dolls.

Kusu-mochi", a specialty of Kawasaki Daishi

Kuzumochi (kuzumochi rice cakes) are a must when visiting Kawasaki Daishi. Many kuzumochi shops line the Nakamise Street. Unlike ordinary kuzumochi, Kawasaki Daishi's kuzu mochi is made from wheat starch instead of kuzu flour. It is a gluten-free healthy food.

Located near the gate of Kawasaki Daishi, you can get Kusu-mochi, which has a traditional taste, at Sumiyoshi, a Japanese sweets shop established in 1917. There is a coffee shop, which is recommended for a break.

Kawasaki Daishi", the Great Monk to ward off bad luck

Kawasaki Daishi is known as the "Great Monk of the Kanto Triad," together with Takao Yakuoin Temple in Tokyo and Naritasan Shinshoji Temple in Chiba, and its main hall enshrines the "Yaku-yoke Kobo Ambassador" as its principal deity. The main hall of the temple enshrines the main deity, "Yaku-yoke Kobo Ambassador," who is said to be the guardian of bad luck and to bring good fortune in terms of health, longevity, prosperity in business, and family safety.

Every day, a fire ritual called "Ogoma" is held to drive away evil spirits, in which a monk burns away the troubles and worries of the people in the sun to drive away evil spirits and to pray for the fulfillment of their wishes. You can participate even if you apply on the day of the event. The prayer time changes depending on the date, so please check the official website of Kawasaki Daishi in advance.

17:00Glamping dinner at Cinecitta Street Shopping Arcade

When you return from Kawasaki Daishi Station to Keikyu Kawasaki Station, visit the fashionable spots in Kawasaki. Kawasaki has an austere image of temples and shopping streets, but in fact, there is an entertainment district called Cinecitta Dori Shopping Street, which was created in the motif of an Italian hill town!

It is a 7-minute walk from Keikyu Kawasaki Station. At "La Cittadella," a commercial facility located within the shopping street area, visitors can enjoy not only shopping, but also a movie theater, a chapel, and a live hall.
