Aomori: Apple juice "WONDER APPLE" by CARNET

Of course, it's an apple! Of course!
There are many varieties of apples, each with a different taste.
Many people buy apple juice as a souvenir from Aomori, but there are so many varieties of apples that it is hard to know which one to buy! To solve this problem, the staff of JR East Travel Service Center Aomori conducted a comparison of apple juices!

We immediately went to A-FACTORY, which offers a wide variety of Aomori souvenirs!

The A-Factory sold a wide variety of apple juices, including those presented in presentation boxes, as well as cold PET bottles and cans that can be consumed on the spot. There were so many to choose from, it was hard to choose just one.
Among them, the one that really caught my attention was "WONDER APPLE" by CARNET, a company with a wide variety of products and cute designs!
It is 100% straight apple juice produced in Aomori.

On this day, 14 kinds of apple juice were sold: "Premium Blend," "Fuji," "O-ring," "Jonagold," "Tsugaru," "Kiou," "Shinano Sweet," "Dai-Koei," "Miki Life," "Kogikyu," "Toki," "Chiyuki," "Shinano Gold," and "Kanki. There were 14 kinds of apple juice on sale. If you look closely, you can see that all of them have slightly different colors. The sizes are 180ml and 1L, and the prices differ depending on the variety.
The variety and number of juices available at the store also depend on the apple harvest season and the production status of apple juice. Unfortunately, there were none in the store that day, but CARNET's recommendation was the "Goshogawara" variety. It is a very rare variety with even the flesh of the apple being red. If you find it, please try it!

The design depicts two owls, which is auspicious and perfect for celebrations and gifts!

Even though we often drink apple juice, we don't often have a chance to compare them, so it was very exciting♪

Kiou

Kiou, named after the "king of yellow apples," is a 100% straight apple juice produced in Aomori.
It has the clearest appearance of all these apple juices and tastes as fresh as it looks. It has a refreshing citrusy impression like mandarin oranges.

OH RIN

O-Rin is called "the representative of green apple.

As the name suggests, Tsugaru is a representative apple of Aomori.

Fuji was born in Aomori and now boasts the top production in the world.
This apple juice had the reddest color of all.

Chiyuki

Chiyuki is named after the white dots on the surface of the peel, which look like falling snow.
It was the whitest color of all these apple juices. It tastes like a breath of fresh air when you are tired. It was very sweet but had no peculiar taste and was easy to drink.

I tried 5 kinds of drinks and they were all so sweet and tasty that I suspected they might have sugar in them. It was satisfying and like a dessert to drink.
This time, each of us was asked to choose one favorite variety, but each had different characteristics and tastes, so everyone had a hard time thinking of which one to choose....
The most popular variety among our staff was "Chiyuki"! It was a rare variety that most of the staff had never tasted before, but it was well received with "sweet and tasty♪".
